Staying warm on a cold night

Roll up tomorrow’s clothes and put them on either side of the foot end of your sleeping bag. It creates an “oven” for your feet, keeping them away from the outside air. Dress in your pre-heated clothes inside the bag before exiting in the morning. — Stephen Dixon
