• Custom-printed playing cards?

  • I'm looking for a source for low-quantity custom-printed playing cards. Basically, I have a set of images that I need to rearrange and handle a lot, and I want them to be durable and look good. It's okay if the back side has the normal playing card design, but ideally I don't want the face side to have any markings except for what I want printed. It would be okay if the cards retained the normal suit and rank (value) markings, but I'd prefer not to have them. I want to be able to order as low as 25 decks, and it would be nice to be able to order just a single desk for proofing. Think of the military decks for aircraft recognition or for the infamous Iraqi most-wanted decks--I need a reasonably high quality, high resolution print. Finally, are there any options available for a slightly larger format than normal? (I guess a normal card is 2.5 x 3.5 inches, or ISO B8, so larger than that.)

Cool tools really work.

A cool tool can be any book, gadget, software, video, map, hardware, material, or website that is tried and true. All reviews on this site are written by readers who have actually used the tool and others like it. Items can be either old or new as long as they are wonderful. We post things we like and ignore the rest. Suggestions for tools much better than what is recommended here are always wanted.
