Best Smoking & Curing Guides

I'm looking to start Curing and Smoking my own locally sourced Game and Meats, and was wondering if anybody could reccommened a good book for a beginner to learn the craft?

Ideally it would include more than just a quick how to, as i would like to learn the finer points of the art and would like a good refernce guide to aid my learning.
