Socks and boxer briefs

I want to standardize my underwear drawer as I'm tired of matching socks. Price is no object here really - I just want the best underwear money can buy.

Smartwool socks are a good bet, but you might try a variety of socks that use Merino wool in different blends. REI.com has a great selection, including Smartwool, Thorlo, Wigwam, and their own house brand. Some people have hot, sweaty feet, others might get cold feet very easily. For me, the key thing was discovering that cotton is almost always the wrong fabric for socks (except for inside cowboy boots, oddly enough).

Smartwool socks are my personal favorite.

As for underwear, Courage Sports Celliant NanO2 Boxer Briefs are amazing. I got a pair, then ordered 6 more. Loved them so much I ordered another 12. They are the most comfortable underwear I've ever owned. Lightweight, breathable, soft, and surprisingly durable. After two years, I've yet to wear out a pair.
