Hartmann-Conco EZE-Band Bandage

Medical bandage with self-fastening velcro ends

When I recently sprained my ankle, this bandage was what they wrapped it in when I went to urgent care. When I followed up with an orthopedic doctor, they wrapped it in another, wider one. By this time I liked the first one so much, that I asked the nurse for the wrapper so I could order more. These are great bandages. They have a velcro fastener to hold it shut, and they’re latex-free. No little metal clippy things to lose, and they provide a less-bulky, gentler compression than the traditional Ace bandage. The two-inch wide bandage has velcro on one end, the four inch wide one has velcro on both ends, which serves as really good anchor when you start to wind the bandage on. The bandages come in 2,3,4 and 6 inch wide versions.

The down side to these is that they are a little lighter weight than an Ace bandage, and don’t last as long. But the nifty self-fastening velcro ends more than make up for their flimsiness in my opinion.
