  • I would like an alarm clock that isn't powered by electricity. I hate waking up to a beep or buzzer, I much prefer to wake to the radio.

I have completely given up on alarm clocks, and now use my cell phone exclusively. If your cell phone speaks radio it may allow that as an alarm - my Huawei U1250 does. I find the cell phone ideal, as the battery is charged because of daytime uses, and thus always has enough charge to get me up in the morning too. Also, I can move it around to aid in the process of not just waking, but also rising.
