They are undoubtedly the weirdest, trippiest, most peculiar, inventive and dream-like comics ever. Each page is memorable, a complete dream unto itself. They make R. Crumb and the LSD-laced hippy underground comics seem tame. While several books reprint the entire series, this reproduction retains the comic&#8217;s original scale, which you really need to fully appreciate the eyeball-slapping impact these masterworks have. It&#8217;s easily the largest book I own.
