I like that it is shorter than other work aprons so it stays out of the way when I bend down. I often leave it on when ride my bike to get tacos or a slice of pizza (though sometimes items can fall out).

I got this apron because I often already have full pockets with a wallet, smartphone, keys and change. I don’t like to put anything else in my left back pocket because that is dedicated to just my phone (other items might scratch the screen). The apron format is nice because I can still easily access my back pockets for my phone and wallet. I can also easily get to the Leatherman I wear on my belt. This apron has a bit more room and durability than the classic light canvas shop waist apron.

I don’t regularly use it to hold nails, which is what it’s made for. I use it to hold my 12 foot tape measure, sharpie pen, drill bits, box cutter, wire snips/strippers, and small 12 volt drills. I also use it to hold small machine screws and 2 and 3″ deck and drywall screws and it works quite well. Now that I have switched to a standing shop desk this apron is particularly handy.

It has 4 pockets (two which are more flat and and two slightly taller and deeper. It also has 2 very small pockets down the middle which are suitable for a pencil, screwdriver or drill bit.

I only wish it had one modification. I wish two of the pockets had snaps or snap-able flaps so it could more securely hold items like my smartphone or keys. I’m thinking of making my own riveted snaps for it.

At $20 it is pretty inexpensive though the Bucket Boss and Ergodyne waist aprons are a bit cheaper. I have not tried either of those.

I purchased a medium, the smallest size they offer and it fits fine on my 30″ waist with plenty of room to spare. I think a medium would work well up to about a 34″ inch waist.

[41
