It replaced my desktop years ago. I use a laptop stand that elevates the screen up into my line of vision, but makes it more difficult to type and use the built in trackpad. So I added a wireless Apple keyboard and Trackpad. The Apple Trackpad 2 is larger than the one provided on the laptop. Rechargeable and very sensitive to touch and gestures too.
