What do we see on screens \u201cin the future\u201d? More broadly, this dense picture book,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2M8GqiL?utm_campaign=Recomendo&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=Revue%20newsletter\" target=\"_blank\">Typeset in the Future<\/a>, is a roundabout way to examine where the interface design of technology is headed. \u2014 KK<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Alien Exercise<\/strong><br \/>\nIn Jen Sincero\u2019s book,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2SKXXQB?utm_campaign=Recomendo&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=Revue%20newsletter\" target=\"_blank\"><em>You Are a Badass<\/em><\/a>, she describes the Alien Exercise for rebooting yourself and getting some clarity. Imagine you are an alien and you\u2019ve just landed on Earth \u2014 into your body and life. Take notice of all the connections, opportunities, skills, possessions and people who love you and can help you.\u00a0What would you do and how would you feel? I think this is great for brainstorming projects, ideas and new ways to enjoy your day-to-day life. \u2014 CD<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cheapest Lightning Cables<\/strong><br \/>\nLightning charging cables are expensive and seem to fray quickly. Micro USB cables, on the other hand, are dirt cheap and seem to last forever. I bought a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2D4064m?utm_campaign=Recomendo&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=Revue%20newsletter\" target=\"_blank\">10-pack of adapters<\/a>\u00a0that convert a Micro USB plug into a Lighting plug. The price for all 10 was $7, about half the price of a single Lightning Cable.
