Maldon Sea Salt Flakes Pinch Tin<\/a>\u00a0($10\/3pk)<\/strong>
\nFlake salt gives more flavor because of the huge surface area, and it has a pleasant crunch as well. It\u2019s great on anything you would sprinkle salt on like tomatoes, cucumbers, home fries and more. I use this when I\u2019m cooking in someone else\u2019s kitchen, at work, or when I\u2019m picnicking. I refill it from the larger salt cellar we keep at home.<\/p>\n

USB Flash Drive<\/strong><\/a>
\nI\u2019ve had this Keroppi flash drive in my bag for nearly forever. You never know when you\u2019re going to need to move a file from one computer to another. This one hasn\u2019t gotten lost because it\u2019s distinctive.<\/p>\n

Etymotic High Fidelity Earplugs<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>($9)<\/strong>
\nThese come in a package that doesn\u2019t take up much space or get crushed in my bag. I use them for concerts or events and they\u2019re always on hand for when there are unexpectedly loud things happening.<\/p>\n

UV keychain flashlight<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0($9\/pk)<\/strong>
\nI have this on my keychain because there are so many interesting things that fluoresce under UV. Rocks, creatures, inks, paints, chemicals, and even my hair dye.<\/p>\n

About the bag<\/strong>
\nMy bag is from\u00a0Modcloth<\/a>\u00a0and has just enough useful pockets (3 inside and 1 outer pocket) and plenty of room in the main compartment for laptop and more. The available prints change regularly, and many of them are great.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
