Our solution was to move to Mexico. We bought land, built a house, and I became a published novelist for the first time, primarily with the publisher NeoText. Good times abound. At the age of 72 I\u2019m re-reading his work and discovering how much tenderness there is between the lines. His memoir&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.harpercollins.com\/products\/ham-on-rye-charles-bukowski?variant=41224263925794\">Ham on Rye<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;is a marvel.<\/li><li>When my aquarium sprang a leak I needed an alternative fast for my three fish: The Equalizer, James Bond, and Rocky. Luckily we had a&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.homedepot.com\/p\/LavoHome-5-Gal-Vitrolero-Aguas-Frescas-Tapadera-Plastic-Water-5galPlasticVitrolero\/310295110#overlay\">five gallon Mexican juice container<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;in the basement, used for agua frescas. So now we have&nbsp;<em>pescado de fresca<\/em>.<\/li><li>Sofia and I use our&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nutribullet.com\/\">nutribullet<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;several times a day. It\u2019s an easy to use blender\u2014 also easy to clean. We use it to make protein shakes, fruit smoothies, and bollis (Mexican popsicles).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>DIGITAL<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>I\u2019ve become a huge fan of Korean drama\u2014slow burn series that really take their time telling emotional stories. One of the best is&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/My_Mister\">My Mister<\/a><\/strong>, which you can find on Netflix.<\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canva.com\/\">Canva<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;is an an app for creating book covers, videos, flyers, etc. It\u2019s an intuitive app that\u2019s easy to use.
