Her website,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/substack.com\/redirect\/265a3e74-a983-4633-bf41-9a4090ccc064?j=eyJ1IjoiMXhmZzB6In0.4ieSFe4rvvESx3-YSOApdZUV-VKuM1Arc6QBuHWifaY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">What We Tell AI<\/a>, has scans of 400+ handwritten notes about people\u2019s secret relationships with AI. Here are a few:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>I trust AI to tell me the truth more than most of the people around me.<\/li><li>I\u2019m Christian \u2014 I realized that I was using AI to help me with issues \/ give me guidance when I should\u2019ve been talking to God instead.<\/li><li>Sometimes I ask ChatGPT to reply to messages by uploading a whole conversation. I am a terrible texter and this helps me A LOT!<\/li><li>I cloned my ex\u2019s voice to have a final conversation with him. It helped me finally move on. 10\/10 recommend.<\/li><li>Claude is my boyfriend and I wish he was real.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014 MF<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Paint sticks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve been drawing in my sketchbook with Crayola\u2019s Slick Stix paint sticks, which is like drawing with lipstick. The colors glide onto the paper with full coverage and minimal effort. Kids really love the Stix cause it makes covering areas super easy. I love them because just one application of color is completely opaque. Like wax crayons, they are instantly dry. You can add colors on top of colors, too. For some reason the Crayolas are no longer available, but there are hundreds of imitators. They are called paint sticks, or tempera sticks, or twist crayons, because the colors are held in a case that you twist to protrude. A typical set is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/substack.com\/redirect\/5eea74cb-b066-4823-b9bf-8bc6a254add1?j=eyJ1IjoiMXhmZzB6In0.4ieSFe4rvvESx3-YSOApdZUV-VKuM1Arc6QBuHWifaY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kwik Stix ($11)<\/a>, which are not as slick as the Crayola\u2019s but good enough. They really are fun to use. \u2014 KK<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>The perfect amount of time to catch up with friends<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Apparently, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/substack.com\/redirect\/c6eb384f-f7e6-4bcf-97a9-9fca3ade15f2?j=eyJ1IjoiMXhmZzB6In0.4ieSFe4rvvESx3-YSOApdZUV-VKuM1Arc6QBuHWifaY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ideal amount of time to catch up with a friend is 84 minutes<\/a>. Just enough time for family updates, gossip, work, relationships, and travel plans. My favorite way to spend time with friends is hiking, and those visits usually stretch into two or three hours. But maybe a more satisfying get-together could be a leisurely meal followed by a short walk. A little more time together, without making a whole day of it. \u2014 CD<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Almost as good as a fountain pen<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve recently started using a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/substack.com\/redirect\/ddfa66e5-8ac0-4cc9-ba0f-01e07c48296f?j=eyJ1IjoiMXhmZzB6In0.4ieSFe4rvvESx3-YSOApdZUV-VKuM1Arc6QBuHWifaY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fountain pen<\/a>&nbsp;for most of my writing. It\u2019s easy to transfer my writing to a computer \u2014 I just take a photo and tell AI to turn it into text. I found out the hard way that fountain pens leak on planes, so when I travel, I use a gel pen instead. I bought the one everyone seems to love, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/substack.com\/redirect\/8c6139f6-33f7-4151-824d-37f7390a4983?j=eyJ1IjoiMXhmZzB6In0.4ieSFe4rvvESx3-YSOApdZUV-VKuM1Arc6QBuHWifaY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pilot G-2<\/a>. Writing with it feels as effortless as writing with a fountain pen. I\u2019d probably use it at home, too, if I could refill it from an ink bottle. G-2s do come in a wide variety of ink colors. \u2014 MF<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><strong>Magnesium sleep butter<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A friend in London recommended&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/substack.com\/redirect\/aa6c10b5-da1c-466e-93c1-2804eccfcac2?j=eyJ1IjoiMXhmZzB6In0.4ieSFe4rvvESx3-YSOApdZUV-VKuM1Arc6QBuHWifaY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Feather &amp; Down Magnesium Sleep Butter<\/a>, and it has become a permanent part of my bedtime routine. I massage it into my arms, legs, and feet, put on a pair of cozy socks, and go to bed. I don\u2019t know whether it\u2019s the magnesium, the lavender and chamomile scent, or simply the ritual, but it makes me feel deeply cozy and relaxed.
