{"id":7626,"date":"2019-10-22T10:13:56","date_gmt":"2019-10-22T17:13:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kk.org\/cooltools\/?p=7626"},"modified":"2019-10-22T10:13:46","modified_gmt":"2019-10-22T17:13:46","slug":"tri-flow-superior-lubricant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kk.org\/cooltools\/tri-flow-superior-lubricant\/","title":{"rendered":"Tri-Flow Superior Lubricant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I bought the bike I rode on a daily basis for four years throughout college, the mechanic at the store insisted in a polite but matter of fact way (read: &#8220;I know more about this stuff than you ever will&#8221;) \u00a0that I pick up a bottle of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/B003L9K9HQ\/cooltools-20\">Tri Flow Lubricant<\/a> ($8) to keep my bike chain running smoothly. Many years (and a few bikes) later, my chains are still in ship shape. Tri-Flow just works. Really well.<\/p>\n<p>My routine involves cleaning the chain with a rag and reapplying with the drip applicator (but be sure to shake the bottle as it contains Teflon that will settle out). After that I wipe off the excess and I&#8217;m good to go. It&#8217;s also great to have around the house and I&#8217;ve used it anywhere metal touches metal.
