What's the make and model of the chair used at the All Things D conference? Here's a shot of the people sitting on the red chair: http://mobilelocalsocial.com/2010/steve-jobs-and-other-top-tech-execs-rock-the-red-chair-at-all-things-d8/ |

They look rather like Steelcase Leap Worklounge chairs. (I covet one, too. I have a regular Leap chair. It's a great chair, but the lack of a headrest (only the Worklounge model has them) was annoying until I hacked one on with PVC and an old car headrest.) linkThank you. That looks like it's the one. Quite the investment - for a chair!

It is indeed an extremely expensive chair, but around here, they can sometimes be obtained for a small fraction of the list price from a university surplus store (and then thoroughly cleaned...). I personally find them to be the best chairs I've ever sat in irrespective of their appearance, although of course tastes vary. I've never even seen a Worklounge model in person, though.
