  • Effective dog whistle and/or silencer?

  • The greatest thing about our neighborhood has been the peace and quiet. This has been abruptly shattered by a neighbor's new doggy. It's still a (large) puppy, but it barks mainly at squirrels and also, oh yeah, at everything else. Do dog silencers work? Can anyone suggest dog silencing (or quieting) techniques from a neighbor's perspective?

on leo laporte podcast section, steve gibson has come up with some kind of non damaging electronic dog control device, steve does the security now podcast. The other or maybe first tactic would be to request the neighbor use a no bark type device.
