  • Can anyone recommend a good quality outdoor canopy?

I have had great success with Coolaroo shade cloths: http://www.coolaroousa.com/view-products.do?category_id=Shade%20Sails&nav=all

We stretched one between two cabins to shade a deck at 3600 ft in the southern California mountains. It stays up year round, and shows no signs of wear after 5 years of service in a very windy area with temps ranging from low teens to 110, although it hasn't faced more than a few inches of snow at any one time. Very easy to mount and take down.
