Edge Pro Apex knife sharpener

Makes a mirror finish razor sharp edge

I love knives. I own about 20 pocket knives currently of differing brands sizes and styles but the one thing they all share is a mirror finish razor sharp edge. I tried several sharpeners before buying the Edge Pro Apex system (EPA for short) and nothing comes close to the edge I can get from this system.

Where the EPA differs from the other sharpeners I have tried is that it has a blade rest and guided stones, making it almost impossible to ruin your knives. Since I bought the EPA I have become a bit of an edge snob when it comes to my knives. If I dull the blade cutting cardboard at work or ding the edge doing something dumb I am almost excited to run home and sharpen it again.

There isn’t a knife in my house (or family/friends for that matter) not wearing a brilliant edge from this sharpener. The ease of use on the EPA makes knife sharpening a quick and painless affair and I always have a bald spot on my arm from testing knives.

This sharpener is easy to use even for beginners with plenty of videos online with cool tips and tricks to get the best out of this system. My favorite tip is to color the edge of the knife with a marker to help set the angle easily.

I recommend the 4th kit which comes with all the stones and up to a 3000 grit polishing tape because that tape is what really makes the edge fantastic.
