Spot It! is a simple game that takes less than a minute to learn — you have to find a match of two images on the cards and then you win that round. That said, it’s trickier than you’d think because the images are of different sizes. (Each pair of cards has only one match due to some mathematical magic). I have been playing this game and giving it as gifts for over ten years because the game is so enjoyable for children of many ages as well as adults. The game itself is compact (all the circular cards fit into a tin) and this makes it easy for travel. My main reason for recommending this as a cool tool is that the design of the game allows children to beat adults fair and square if they have keen observation skills.
